From his debut recording at age 15 to performances with the world's finest orchestras, Nakariakov has redefined trumpet artistry and brought the flugelhorn to prominence on the concert stage. A Jazz Tribute

A centennial celebration at Tallinn's most intimate jazz venue. American trumpet virtuoso Jason Hunter, a Los Angeles native trained at Berklee College of Music who now calls Tallinn home, joins forces with Siim Aimla, the 2009 Estonian Jazz Award winner and artistic director of the Estonian Dream Big Band, alongside a stellar rhythm section at Philly Joe's Jazz Club. This special evening honors the 100th anniversary of Miles Davis, the man who revolutionized jazz five times over. Hunter's ferocious sound blends West Coast cool with neo-bop fire, while Aimla adds his sophisticated vision as saxophonist and composer. Expect bebop brilliance meeting modal exploration, where Kind of Blue whispers meet Bitches Brew thunders. A bow to Miles. One unforgettable night.

A musical morning where curiosity meets world-class artistry, designed for families who love to explore together. International Trumpet Days invites music lovers of all ages to an interactive celebration where brilliant brass music, playful discovery, and hands-on learning come alive. In collaboration with Viimsi Music School, we've created an experience where restless energy is welcomed. Hans Petter Stangnes, legendary Norwegian virtuoso and celebrated children's pedagogue, performs alongside beloved Viimsi maestros Neeme Ots and Jaan Mesi. Beyond the performance, an exciting instrument exhibition from Stomvi and Schagerl awaits curious hands. Children can explore and play world-class instruments under expert guidance.

Trumpet Stars @MUBA

An extraordinary constellation of trumpet virtuosos takes the MUBA stage for a once-in-a-lifetime gala concert. International stars Xiao Kaiwen (China), Hans Petter Stangnes (Norway), José Cháfer Mompó (Spain), and Sławomir Cichor (Poland), luminaries who grace Europe's most prestigious festivals, join forces with Estonian talents Eerik Bahhovski and Villem Endel Tiits, laureates of the ERKF Aavo Otsa Fund Prize. This historic evening honors the profound legacies of composers Harri Otsa (100th anniversary) and Hillar Kareva (95th anniversary), alongside maestro Aavo Otsa (75th anniversary). These composers shared a deep friendship with Aavo Otsa, who frequently performed their newly-created works in their homes. Witness world premiere performances of newly published treasures.

Northern Lights by Tallinn Brass Academy

Experience a rare musical convergence where Nordic brilliance, cinematic grandeur, and contemporary Estonian composition unite. Under the artistic direction of Norwegian trumpet virtuoso Hans Petter Stangnes (Trondheim Philharmonic, Nordic Brass Ensemble), the acclaimed Tallinn Brass Academy presents masterworks by Nordic composers alongside film music classics specially arranged by Stangnes for brass ensemble. The evening's centerpiece is the world premiere of a trumpet concerto by Estonian composer Valeri Petrov, woven from Estonian folk themes. Written for two solo trumpets and brass ensemble, this dedicated work honors trumpeter Neeme Ots, who performs alongside Spanish virtuoso and Yamaha Artist José Cháfer Mompó. Petrov's composition seamlessly intertwines Estonian folk motifs with his personal musical language, a sensitive and refined voice that showcases his deep instrumental intuition. Special guest performance: competition winner Patricio Martín Fernández (Trumpet Talents 2025 Laureate).

This concert embodies the festival's core mission: using music to unite communities, inspire young musicians across all regions, and demonstrate that artistic excellence transcends all boundaries. Stars in South Estonia

For the first time, the festival's grand finale takes place in Võru, bringing international artistry to Estonia's culturally rich south. International competition laureates join festival stars and beloved local brass ensembles from Võrumaa in a festive celebration conducted by José Antonio Page Ramirez. This historic concert unites world-class soloists with regional talent, honoring the best Estonian participant from the Trumpet Talents Tallinn competition. Võru's intimate Kannel concert hall provides the perfect setting for this culmination of two weeks of musical excellence, demonstrating the festival's commitment to bringing international culture to every corner of Estonia.
